We celebrated Marie’s birthday on Sept. 24 by dining out at the Outback Steak House.
We both chose the Alice Springs chicken. Here is the captivating description that sold us:
Grilled chicken breast and bacon smothered in
mushrooms, melted Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, with
honey mustard sauce.
We chose baked potato in lieu of Aussie chips.
Since it was a celebration, we toasted it with as glass of wine.
In our previous visits to the Outback, we have enjoyed their steaks, but this dish sounded so good, we had to try it. I am so glad we did; it was superb! We can highly recommend it.
